I know everything feels extra heavy as I lost my previous dog Jackson on Sept 29, 14 years ago, and my brain loves anniversaries. I remember all of them, unfortunately, the good and the bad.
Show Postthe way the light is changing and those last days we had together. I feel them every year so having it repeated 14 years later, it's hard. you never really get over your grief. it's not possible and so it rises again and joins up with new grief.
Show Postjohnny has bounced back before and he may so again but one day he will not and I will never be ready for it.
