The Adirondack State Park also likely has 100k hectares of old-growth forests (or more). I have been deeply fortunate to have visited similar forests around the Northern Hemisphere (and one in the Southern Hemisphere). I have yet to find one that compares to the totality of the Adirondacks

Show PostRangers reached him at 1:15 PM and found unstable ankle and wrist injuries. Due to the rugged terrain, NYSP Pilots Leeder and Plitsch conducted a hoist rescue, with Ranger Cowart securing him for transport. By 4:30 PM, he was transferred to Hunter Ambulance.
