Welcome back everyone to the weekly #BirdsSeenIn2026 challenge summary! The top 3 is increasing its numbre of species every day, and Malaysia is getting very close to the 600 species mark! Apart from that, France is coming back in the top 10 with fall rarities as bonus species.

A Redwing was an astonishing find as I walked around the block, very unusual here before Christmas. Skylarks back on fields, autumn Mipits & Common Gulls too. Kestrels more noticeable, Grey Wagtail & Cetti’s by bridge. #essexbirding

Two days in Cornwall and hit 100 species for #BirdTrack Pendeen, Drift, Boscathnoe Res and Hayle yesterday. Marazion, Drift and a few spots further west today. Lap Bunt, Bearded Tit, Hooded Crow, Hen Harrier, 2 Merlin, Dartford Warbler today #BirdingCornwall
