1) I talked about the Tuskegee Syphilis Study when discussing ethics. A student emailed me that they had watched a documentary about Tuskegee after class. I adjusted the final project so she could focus on Tuskegee's impact & sent her to the Society for the Psychology of Black Women conference.

I don’t take offense when students ask if material is going to be on the exam. I am flattered that they think that I have written their exam weeks in advance of the exam date, however.

I am trying something new this semester in my Psych of Gender class. Specifically 10% of students’ final grade come from a “choose your own adventure” assignment. Students can select from books, documentaries, podcasts, and events on campus to attend and write about or discuss with me/the class. 1/2
