If I can say anything to younger queers: Don’t come out to ur homophobic parents. It’s not worth it 9 times out of 10. Do everything u can to avoid it. You don’t owe them anything. Not even an explanation. Not “the truth” knowing damn well what they’ll do with it. Protect yourself at all costs.
