My wife is having a very, very, hard day and she needs fixing. So I'm taking her out for fish and chips. I have no business spending this kind of money, but she's too amazing to be this sad. I love her more than I'm going to hate that restaurant bill.

I'm barely paying attention and haven't since that Monday morning when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He died 15 weeks ago. I had enough to be upset without watching MSNBC three hours a night. I won't watch cable news now. I see it as a blessing.
