If you're looking at reasons ABC Vancouver massively lost tonight, there's a reason that isn't Ken Sim. Time and time again I heard from folks that Chief of Staff Trevor Ford alienated potential supporters, played hardball when it wasn't necessary, and pushed ABC to the right. Backfired. Big time.

There were a lot of big brained people who dismissed the chances of Pete Fry as mayor. Too vague. Too wishy washy on housing. Not enough money. Not enough organization. They overlooked a basic fact: the centre-left coalition candidate who comes across as a decent guy stands a good chance.
