I've had to remind my mum that I'd rather she spends her money on making her life better/easier than worry about leaving anything for me. I'd rather have her than any money she could leave me. She jusr had aircon fitted in her home to help her through the heat, so I think my prodding is working 😁

Your parents are not 'spending your inheritance', you self interested whiner. They already invested loads into you, and may or may not leave something to you. Let them enjoy what they have.
