Why? Because the vaccines only help when the pathogen is already in your body! There were lots of opportunities to avoid that before the vaccine had to swing into action, opportunities to not catch or pass on infections, opportunities most people are not taking.

You are absolutely wrong about this. Vax-and-relax narratives and the "vaccines are our first line of defence" line are, ironically, anti-vax in their consequences, they are setting up the vaccines to fail. Vaccines, which are very good, should be around the 5th or 6th line of defence for covid.

INCORRECT! julie is an incredible advocate around covid and health safety INCLUDING vaccines. could she have said it isn’t a “neutralizing” vaccine? sure, and she readily admits and accepts that in a follow up post. really wish you had actually listened before posting so rashly 😔

In a Long Covid group I'm in, I would say most people (including myself) were vaxxed multiple times before getting Covid and developing LC. And since reinfection makes most of us much, much sicker, we don't rely on just our vaccines to prevent us from getting it again.
