Hell sometimes you find that the stuff people get super nostalgic about *isn't* exactly like they remember, you might find it's great for *different* reasons too that gets buried under nostalgic memories And kids do that too!! Kids like old things!!!!

Seeing people my age already be yelling at clouds about how "kids nowadays are so dumb and lost and the stuff they like is worse than what i liked" just has me more convinced that the instinct to become a cranky old man is powerful and easy, not being like that is a concious effort

to clarify i think this is kind of pathetic. there's people on here who are like 32 doing boomer facebook posting. already done living in the present or thinking of themselves as part of culture. you can turn around and close your eyes but the future's still coming from the other direction
