I can only recommend the very thorough paper the expert commission wrote. Its tldr conclusion: socialization is doable and the best available policy to reach the intended goals.

Well, considering that those "investors" facing socialization build next to zero housing anyway that shouldn't be a problem. Also, "expropriation adds no homes" is an irrelevant take (or, less cautiously put, a strawman) because socialization was never about that to begin with.
