The Sisters of Mercy released their third and final album, “Vision Thing” on this day in 1990. For me, it’s not as dark as their previous albums, but I still enjoy listening to it today. The title track and “More” are my favourite tracks off this album. Thoughts? Favourite tracks?

Yeah, seen them a few times and bar the Dublin show in 1994(they didn't look happy), where we got 7 tunes from it, I think. Looking forward to the Dublin show, bigger venue this time. The last tour we saw them in Dublin & Cork, absolutely magnificent, both nights.

Yes, Andy wasn't at his best on side 2, but Magical Spring is adorable. 32 years on, Loz' Natural Grace still sends my spirits skywards. Great to see him with Saint Etienne a few weeks ago.

From 1994, the uneven but often beguiling "Carnival Of Light". Never the greatest lyricists, there's doggerel on here that would make William McGonagall blush. But, musically there's a lot to love.
