PAID COMICS ARTIST GIGS - For the first time since COMICS ARE DYING: THE COMIC, comic book writer / editor Louis Southard is back curating a brand new anthology comic book special! The only thing that’s missing? YOU!!!

Show Post

Brought to life by uber-talented artist @tomhoskisson.bsky.social, this duo present OCEANMAN ADVENTURES #1: a curated anthology collection of vastly different stories centered around the underwater superhero OCEANMAN & his sidekick MOLLUSK as they face their greatest foes in the ultimate adventure!

Show Post

Pitched as a sillier Batman and Robin (or a serious Mermaidman and Barnacleboy), this comic seeks to celebrate and poke fun at the nearly 100 years of vigilante comics we all know and love! Simply put: let’s make the fun comics shit THE MAN won’t let us do!

Currently, we’re looking for ten (10) comic book artists and/or cartoonists to help us write our anthology tales. Under Southard’s editorial stewardship, you will help define individual and unique eras of OCEANMAN’s diverse career.

A story and writer will be assigned to you as you’re tasked to carve out an era of comics all to yourself. Does this sound like the project for you? See the application process above and dive in! The water is fine!
