Days like this are reminders that we can & should feel what we feel but not be consumed by it. Feel the anger, but do not descend into exasperation. Feel the frustration, but do not descend into apathy. Feel the sadness, but do not descend into despair. Feel what you feel but hang on to hope.

Thoughts on boycotts: inflict pain on the corporation. Buying a couple 99 cent ebooks from a self-published author on Amazon is fine. Don’t buy a microwave on it. Purity is never the answer. Restraint though and thoughtfulness is.
