look I get it. Decades of disinvestment and white flight, years of deferred maintenance, and the “American dream of car ownership”, I can UNDERSTAND why people are holding on to cars, especially communities of color.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that polling aggregators have been around since the mid-2000s, but this cycle is when multiple people tried to trick them with fake polls. Nothing to do with the increased prominence of easily-manipulated prediction markets.
