I didn’t believe them before, but it is rather peculiar that it’s playing out exactly like she predicted. My granddad’s exact life was predicted by a fortune teller too. I was told by a separate fortune teller that I’d find true love at 31 and that I’d live to be 83.

I was also told that I’d fight for my child, break from the beast, and guide others into better lives, that my purpose was to help others find theirs. I don’t believe in them on principle, but it is funny how all the people in my life played out their lives. I wonder if that’ll be my path too.

That was during my self-loathing and rageful days, so I wasn’t receptive to the fortune in the way I should’ve been. But now I can understand why some people believe in them. Look at how I fought for Howie! Losing a family member, even an annoying one, is hard. It’s making me think weird things.
