If ABC wanted to capitulate to Carr, Kimmel should have just issued an invitation to Paxton. I doubt he would have accepted but if he did there's nothing in the "rule" that says interviewers have to be friendly. There's a whole lot of Paxton baggage to unpack. .

Search for Spock is so fucking underrated. It's got that scene, it's got "you Klingon bastard, you've killed my son." He blows up the fucking Enterprise. "I choose the danger! Hell of a time to ask" is the best McCoy line in the whole cannon. It is a top tier Star Trek movie.
