“A valuable digest of the still thriving @druidtheatre.bsky.social's first 50 years… equally valuable as a précis of modern Irish theatre.” Edited by @barryhoulihan.bsky.social @pflonergan.bsky.social and Máiréad Ní Chróinín – @methuendrama.bsky.social. My @britishtheatreguide.info review
Show PostFascinating and involving to see @druidtheatre.bsky.social's compelling, dark and dangerous Macbeth from the crow's nest of the raised on-stage seating at Lyric Belfast. Superb anchoring performances by Marty Rea and Marie Mullen, Sean Kearns deftly multi-tasking and stealing the Porter's scene.

A unique audience experience for an intensely powerful performance of Macbeth at Lyric Belfast today. Could literate the whites of their eyes. Superb stuff from @druidtheatre.bsky.social as always. Bravo to all involved 👏👏👏
