tbh reading that quinns post kind of fucked me up because so many people have been struggling for SO long to change things and paying immense prices for it. and yet the guy who has the reach to literally change livelihoods just gets to glibly be like ‘hey guys, did you know diversity is good?’

every time I step away I get clarity that the way I’m existing in this field/hobby/space is completely unsustainable for my mental and physical health, but when I come back I feel like I’m inevitably drawn back into a cycle of burnout because I like… care, period.

There is truly nothing wrong with disagreeing on matters of taste. In fact, peacefully disagreeing on matters of taste is a vital skill in the TTRPG space, one lots of people haven't cultivated.
