Conservatively, I'd ballpark the amount of coverage that Michael Bennet's campaign received at, what, 10 to 20 times what Gonzales' did? More? He's going to lose by twice her margin despite spending 20x what she did. An astounding failure of prioritization and news judgment on all of our parts.

At ~6 points, the answer is very, very poorly, I'm afraid. A major collective miss by Colorado's political press corps, and a real disservice to voters to have aided (whatever any individual or organizational intentions were) Hickenlooper's oxygen-deprivation strategy.
