plus then you're dealing with just tremendous amounts of money, which is tempting when it's sitting in your bank account and also generally impossible for an individual person to repay if something DOES go wrong. and people have higher expectations if you charged them 90;bucks for a bundle!

it's hard to produce a full color 200 page book and also coordinate eight different kinds of merch all of which come from different suppliers! and because that's now the dominant mode of fandom book production people are liable to think it isn't as much work as it actually is.
