It’s all about trust (in yourself and others) and stepping out of the comfort zone again. Something bad happening to you is a real outcome to consider but eventually you have to learn and teach yourself that that’s not the only possible outcome if you want to do anything significant ever again tbh.

Time doesn’t heal wounds on its own, it takes thoughtful and considerate care in order to heal. More or less think about how you feel and why and what you think you may need to from people in order to feel comfortable again. Not speaking from any authority, that’s just my experience 🤧

Sorry ur dealing w dat. He wasnt right for u. I got out of a 4 yr relationship in peak COVID and had to re-learn my self confidence in getting past them. Dua Lipa "Don't Start Now" was my gym anthem as I envisioned how I would strut & look fab whenever I encountered them at local spots. Their loss.
