I am deeply disturbed by the shooting in Utah. Doug and I send our prayers to Charlie Kirk and his family. Let me be clear: Political violence has no place in America. I condemn this act, and we all must work together to ensure this does not lead to more violence.

Yes the things Charlie Kirk said were disgusting. But, he was willing to debate and discuss. Conservatives and liberals alike watched his debates. He was a bridge between the right and the left. We need more bridges. Violence like this is never acceptable,and losing Charlie Kirk is tragic.

I’m gonna get this out real quick: I do not like Charlie Kirk in the slightest. However, I can’t say that he deserved what had happened. Nobody should have to go through that, regardless of politics or whatever the fuck. That young, too, Jesus Christ dude.
