I'm very happy to know that my canine charge has recovered after developing a mass on his neck. It was merely an abscess, not a tumour, as had been suspected originally. I was delighted to know everything turned out well. I love both my charges, they're such sweet, lovely dogs. 🐕

Last year during my time dogsitting, my charge got hold of a dead bird whilst on a walk. He ended up eating the damn thing. I ended up trying not to vomit as we went home. I succeeded, thankfully, but my goodness, that was just nasty! He made out ok after that little snack, for a wonder. 🐕

I'm glad I left Twitter back when it was still reasonably good. I just wanted to be elsewhere. I escaped long before it purified and decayed. Back before it was wrecked by political opinions. It seems Bluesky has already started to go down that path, and rapidly for all that. That's too bad, really.

Whilst I have zero respect for my parents' choice in who they vote for, I do respect everything else about them. They've set a great example with their marriage. It's unfortunate that I'll never marry, myself, but that's my decision and everyone's cool with that. It worked for my parents, anyway.
