It's not "misinformation" if it's presented by the company itself at their panel in the most important industry event of the year. yeah, the suits might be bulldozing the creatives and shaping the narrative the way they want - but to report on what's been officially announced is not "misinformation"

I don't like this being stated as "misinformation". There is none here. There was speculation, sure. But we were given a very real image from a panel where it was stated they asked chat gpt about SEA men's appearances. Nothing incorrect about that. It happened.

Wow, that's grim. Thank you for explaining! Still puzzled why somebody thought this was okay or useful, such a weird thing to do but okay, entertainment corporations ARE weird

Does this imply someone who WAS officially involved with creating the team's presentation at the show faked a full screen of character design notes with AI involvement? Who? How? Not being snarky, I really don't understand the process of how this got into an official presentation.

It's entirely possible. Speaking as a concept artist our work can be taken at any time and assembled into slides by people who aren't artists, without our input. Our work is owned by the company and can be presented any way they want.
