Colombia suffered a 7.4 magnitude earthquake yesterday. Today, Colombia officially recognized Israel’s “sovereignty” over the occupied Golan Heights. (I’m not saying these two events are related, but it wouldn’t surprise me if US aid to Colombia were being conditioned on this announcement.)
