Yesterday I decided to get my kid a Kinder Surprise egg even though it's an expensive treat for us. We were buying just the egg and at check out a friendly older dude in front of us saw it and asked if he could pay for it. It was such a small gesture but honestly made my day 😌✨

Glad he is ‘drawing the line in the sand’ But, it still grieves me that it’s taken this long, past the 11th hour, for some people to start drawling lines. The dots were connnected, long ago.

Oooooh. On the spur of the moment, I dragged my cello out of the closet and played with a student, for the first time, since surgery. I had been on my violin and viola, but had not wanted to risk anything dastardly happening to my cello, or self. Until today. It felt sooooooo good.
