Ha, touché. Yes, in months with no salary, the response rate to administrative/service stuff drops - and ought to drop. Universities have leveraged academics' sincerity into a mountain of free labor. This is not sustainable with the increase in higher admin making demands that are useless time waste

In peripheral vision it seems red, in foveal vision it looks white. I often find white things look pinkish in peripheral vision. Is this part of the explanation?
