Can we just not have any kind of burrito taxi? I think the world was better off when there were only 3 kinds of food delivery: pizza, Chinese & Indian. Everything else you should have to leave your apartment to go get. None of us starved and the streets weren't blocked by double parked Doordashers.

Strikes me as an unusual set of conditions under which they're viable. My students who tried them for the giggles of doing it said the uncertainty about when they'd turn up deterred them from trying again at the price being asked.

I have a LOT of thoughts about backpacks at different price points and utility. I know the stereotype about women is we all long for a birkin but the beauty of developing back issues in your 20s is you learn early to long for the perfect backpack. Hint: there's no such thing.

The trick is to get a backpack that doesn't look like a middle school Jansport. At the risk of sounding like a snob: the backpack you wear to work/around a city shouldn't look like the backpack you wear on a hike.
