Scars and stretch marks will always remind me of kintsugi (or kintsukuroi). They aren't flaws. They're signs of a life lived. Our bodies may not need the lacquer or powdered gold to mend itself. But we should treat these marks with the same sense of reverence. Your marks are beautiful. 💜
