and they truly delight in their ability to spread fear! which is why we need to commit to spreading only information. they are just guys in stupid outfits. it's good to know where they are & what they are doing, but they aren't the boogeyman. don't let them have that.
Show Postanother thought re: patriot front sightings on social media: they have a reasonably sophisticated social media strategy with fake accounts that seed panic and/or excitement about their events. they may post false/misleading/outdated info about their presence in an area. be discerning about sources.
Show Postif you have information about patriot front sightings in virginia *today,* i would love to hear from you! they left the virginia beach oceanfront by 10am and i have seen no credible information regarding new sightings since then. they may be traveling in rented vans or box trucks.
Show Postfor clarity: these pics were posted on reddit at 9:30am. this location is 25th & atlantic ave in virginia beach. 2 hours later, someone screenshot & posted it to IG. patriot front posted a screenshot of that IG post on their telegram at 11:30am, but they had been gone for 2 hours by then.
Show Postwe all make our own choices, i only want you to have the information you need to make the best choice for you. based on past demos, they are unlikely to physically attack you if you do not approach the march. make a scene, make noise, tell them they are unwelcome, but know they have hurt people.
