People do this bc their parent(s) are often abusive and refuse to change. Often, unshared values also surface with time, along with a lack of tolerance from one or both sides. The only way you can protect to your peace is to limit access. You do it for your own sanity and sense of safety.

With the disclaimer this is pure anecdata from only one area of one state, I have never in my life seen a 40-minute wait on Day 1 of early voting at the South Library location of Durham NC I have also never once seen any wait at all at my early voting spot (the "12") Also notice the north / R area
