an advice regarding fandom that i rly like: instead of publicly complaining why there is too much of (disliked ship/dynamic), just create what you wanna see instead. that way, the number of works for your desired ship/dynamic increase and you might be seen as a madman (/pos) instead of madman (/neg)

"All nights are dark," yeah, well, calling the night "dark" signals something about mood and tone. "Stormy" is much more economical than "A storm was raging" or whatever. And the whole phrase is iambics; it's got a nice rhythm.
