As a native Nebraskan, the Nebraska Navy is a thing, it's an honorary bestowed on people by the governors office, for such things as outstanding community leaders etc. My grandmother was given an Admiralship on her 103rd Birthday, in honor of her lifelong community involvement. Feels cheapened now.
