Off the cuff, shoutout to a few Bluesky accounts doing real activism on behalf of public lands: @protectnps.bsky.social @protectparks.bsky.social @lcv.org @biologicaldiversity.org @earthjustice.org @selc.bsky.social @wilderness.org + #AltGov fam @resistancerangers.altgov.info There are more!
Show PostFollow @resistancerangers.altgov.info. They collaborate. They build coalitions. They *don’t* sell stickers and tees.
Show PostIf on Facebook visit @friendsoftheinyo.bsky.social for a video explainer and #AltCitizen call to action. Looks like @resistancerangers.altgov.info collaborating (follow them, please, they do great work). Your 🗣️ helps. Modify the example comment as your own (Copy/paste gets thrown out 🗑️)
Show PostI know I can’t match @altfda.altgov.info’s pace. Is a slowdown inevitable? I suspect @resistancerangers.altgov.info, @altfws.altgov.info & me would all prefer to be offline, in nature than on social media 😅 A 2022 thesis analyzed AltGov 1.0. Perhaps AltGov 2.0 follows a similar trend?
