It’s depressing to see schools use AI to create flyers, banners, & t-shirts. When I was in high school the faculty would come to the art department to have students create these things. I learned so many skills that have followed me my entire professional life. That’s what I thought school was for.

I'm learning how to paint with watercolors and it's already brought me such an incredible amount of joy. Generative AI's invasion has taken a lot of the joy from online spaces for me and physical hobbies like this and gunpla have been grounding.

I'm going to bury her in my garden later today. She had such a huge personality and I'm not exactly sure how to go on with this. I will miss her. I will miss her so much.
