Gonna share an idea that might be a bit controversial. I really dislike multiple booleans that can create impossible states. So much so that in one design system I built, I gave our Button a `status` prop and didn't expose `disabled` as an attr. It worked really well for us.

Stakeholders and users are beneficiaries, but I totally agree that other designers are also in the primary user group.

I use react portal for dialogue and stuff that's "in your face" so to speak.
