50 years of HSTs! As I came into St Pancras from Sheffield, I saw the 125Group's "Rio Warrior" tour for Manchester Piccadilly departing Platform 2. What a brilliant sight indeed! I still miss these wonderful trains coming in and out of London, half a century is admirable!

Had a brilliant time at the Colne Valley Railway today for their HST Day. It was my first time visiting this railway and it certainly won't be the last. A small but very charming railway. 😊 43023 enters Castle Hedingham from Nunnery Junction. (03/10/26)
