It's been amazing. Magical. Even hearing everything at once at a relatively high volume has been brilliant. I've just handed them back and I'm returned to a muffled world where I know I'm missing things. But in 10 days' time I will collect hearing aids of my very own. It's going to be so good!

There's something particularly sad about losing Peter Cullen. This is going to perhaps sound a bit silly, but there is a generation of fans for whom Optimus Prime is, essentially, Your Immortal Dad, and losing him is losing a colossal, beneficent figure of legend.
