Yeah. You're potentially right, it could sit there for a few years unused, but over the long term I'd prefer there to be a good medium or high density neighborhood as opposed to a large mall. For me, the calculation of an interim of not so great, is worth the long term massive improvement.

Lloyd Center relied too heavily on the traditional mall anchor and smaller clothing/jewelry stores mix. A mix of non-traditional tenants might have saved them or prolonged it.
