I left X almost exactly two years ago because of the violent, celebrated rape culture that was dominating the platform. Two years later, I’m undeniably better off, and the culture around sexual violence at large is arguably worse. I believe X has played a serious role in that.

Without diminishing @jessicacalarco.com's point, with which I agree, I find the father's thought process completely foreign and cannot imagine thinking it in a million years. That's one of my absolute favorite things to do and I am sad the days I don't get to do it.

"Explain how that happens" is a legitimate request! And critique! I am happy to explain all sorts of ways LLMs could hurt humanity, but all of those explanation involve careless people doing careless things. Not rogue software. I do not like this moment in time where nobody cares how things work.
