That's A very fair point. Untouched isn't the word. It is saddening, but I think you're right. It's easier to market and fund an adventure to the stars, but the depths of the ocean are just sitting there waiting. I'm sure we'll look inward again one day, but not for a while I fear.

I almost feel cheated, I didn't realize there were more! And the scale of them makes me so much more entrenched in the idea... I feel like it's almost tapping into a different part of my brain. God, all these billionaires that are aiming for the moon and stars - Aim lower!!

It's kind of mental. Science found it easier to go to the stars than to take a deeper swim! Reminds me of when I watched Blue Planet, the statistic for how much was unexplored blew my mind, and people want to move to Mars? It is good in a way, there's still somewhere untarnished by humans.
