We're not having a discussion about people's ability to cook food. We're pretending capitalism and ableism don't exist and pushing the class pressure of both onto individuals to absolve corporations of liability. Disabled people with 2 jobs exist and their struggle to eat is not a skill issue.

A nuanced conversation about this is the only one I'm interested in having. The people you're talking about are called working poor. They're not in poverty, but they choose between good health and poverty every day. I used to run an organization which supported a charity for the working poor.

It's pretty easy to judge, but it's class material conditions that are causing this to happen, not individual laziness or some stupid explanation like that. People are choosing to pay for convenience so that they can use their energy on the things that they feel are more important.
