It’s the kind of shortsightedness that leads to pretty much all of our problems. Taxes are for shared services. Unless this chud completely disconnects from society, he still benefits from the taxes he’s paying. How do you get into your 70’s and not understand this?

These people tend to be the tough on crime types too. Better education is incredibly effective at wiping out a lot of types of crime. As are youth programs. School tax isn't to fund someone else's babysitter, it's to make the community as a whole better.
