Show PostI went through PsychiatryUK. It wasn’t cheap, but it was very thorough.
Show PostI went private for my dx, which has its pros and cons. Pro: only waited about 2 months to get an assessment. The psych was wonderful and knew tons about ADHD in women. Cons: my GP refused shared care unless I got reassessed by a NHS psych in my NHS trust - so no meds for me!
Show PostDefinitely get an assessment. If you think you have it and others see it too - it’s highly likely. And if it’s not - you might get insight into what is going on.
