trying out @bcc2528.bsky.social 's quake win3.1 port for the first time (PCem v17 PMMX300 w/ Tseng ET4000, keyboard only) (some parts of the video are trimmed for time. the last minutes are not trimmed)

Circa late '95, early '96, when Quake designers had a leak in their map, they had to hunt where it came from otherwise no PVS was generated. The fps dropped to single digit. Typing "pointfile" in the quake console loaded the pts file and then they had to visually search for the ray of particles!!!
