We are a few hours away from the start of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement (the Jewish day starts at night). It’s not a day to ask for things, really - other than forgiveness. But I’m just hoping for a day of safety, without tragedy. We didn’t have that last year.

Umichvoter and I used to follow each other and chatted privately from time to time. He seemed like a good guy for awhile. Earlier this year I stopped following him, then more recently blocked him. Glad to see my instincts were correct.
