Our industry, our people (game devs who aren't execs), + gamers all deserve MORE than seeing all the successful small companies getting eaten up by large companies into mega conglomerates, which are then bought by other mega conglomerates with everything sold off/shut down for parts.

Exactly as predicted because of the buyout. Wonder if EA will sell any of their IPs developed by Bioware or just do nothing with them? I wish Sims could be freed from EA’s clutches, but it’ll likely never happen. So it’s either get treated even worse or die off completely. 😔

i survived this round of layoffs at EA, but many more amazing and talented people didn't. I'm absolutely shattered, angry, and disappointed that this keeps happening. this industry shouldn't be like this. we're losing so much knowledge and talent.
