This morning ASH Chief Executive @hazelcheeseman.bsky.social gave evidence to the Treasury Select Committee session on tax and duty non-compliance on high streets. Hazel answered questions from committee members on tobacco taxation and the illicit tobacco and vape market.

New data released today shows a big fall in smoking at time of delivery to 4.2%. 🎉 This success can be attributed to interventions such as stop smoking services in maternity services, preventing ~2k babies from being preterm or low birthweight over 5 yrs. 👇
