That 30% ITC was great, but most didn't have the tax appetite to take advantage of it. The value of a solar install without it is still huge. A solar lease is a great option as well.

This is a pet peeve but I hate (eg) "9x cheaper" as a phrase. You mean a ninth of the cost? I think? Seems to me that cost is a thing that can be multiplied but cheapness isn't.

It is cool, makes complete sense, and I'm glad it passed into law. I realize it's a simple bracket install. But there are going to see ALOT of improperly installed solar panels all over the place.

If I'm not mistaken, there are about half a million school buses in the USA. Over 4,000 of U.S. school buses are now electric. I hope that centralized charging infrastructure like the school districts and their contractors need could be hardened enough to become VPPs. bsky.app/profile/jjor...
